Just before Samuel stepped out of the church auditorium, pastor Yemi opened his eyes and looked around. There was no sign of Samuel. Then he turned and saw him by the door. Looking through the window he saw a young lady, naked from head to toes and using lust and demonic influence to pull Samuel toward herself. “Jesus! How can this be?” pastor Yemi said aloud to himself. Samuel heard his voice and paused to look back. There was something unnatural about his eyes. “You foul spirit of lust, leave now in the name of Jesus!!” pastor Yemi demanded with an authoritative voice. The young lady somersaulted and hit the floor with a stunning impact. Her scream was sharp and rent the air. Beside the door, Samuel dropped to the floor and lay still as though he was dead. Pastor Yemi ran outside with a bottle of oil in his hand. When he reached the young lady who was on the ground shifting her shape into different reptilian creatures, he dropped some of the oil on her and making some commands in the name of Jesus.

Right under his nose, the lady began to go into the ground as though something was pulling her into the ground. She screamed and begged for mercy, but pastor Yemi was in no mood for that. He kept yelling prayers at the top of his voice. Unfortunately for the devil’s agent, some of the prayer warriors pastor Yemi had sent home returned to meet the scene. Their method to address the situation was different; grabbing whatever they could, they began to beat the lady who was slowly sinking into the ground. Though pastor Yemi would have them stop the violence, but they would not listen, praying with all their strength, they pounded the lady until the last of her went completely into the ground and she disappeared from sight.

Just when they thought it was over, Samuel who was lying still on the floor sprang to his feet with a scream and began to point at the gate. To pastor Yemi and his prayer warriors, there was no one there. However, Samuel continued to shout and point at the gate. The prayer warriors tried to calm him but he would not be stopped. To be sure that there was actually nothing at the gate, pastor Yemi took a few steps toward it and then almost got knocked down. He stepped back praying in tongues. At that, what was by the gate made itself manifest. Uncle Jones was seen walking into the church premises with intimidating boldness. “So you are the filth who killed our bird and two agents. You have no clue what you have done to yourself and your family. We are going to kill everyone who is related to you and pull this church down in disgrace!” uncle Jones said, beating his chest. The sound of his voice was menacing.

He looked at Samuel and moved his hands toward him as though he was casting a spell on him. “Come here boy! You can never change who you are! Even if they pray for you till the end of time, you will remain what you are! We made you. You are one with us!” uncle Jones added with arrogance. Till this point, no one had found the courage to speak back to him or utter a word of prayer. The clout he arrived with had shut their mouths. Samuel looked from pastor Yemi to uncle Jones and wondered why his pastor was not saying a word. The prayer warriors had retreated behind their pastor. Uncle Jones waved his hand toward Samuel and commanded once more, “Come here boy!” Samuel felt that same pull he had experienced when the naked lady summoned him out of the church auditorium. Against his will, he began to stagger toward uncle Jones.

Just a little above a whisper, pastor Yemi said, “You cannot harm my family. You don’t have the power to do that. Samuel stop. I command you to stop.” There was no sound of courage in his voice. Strangely Samuel stood still, tears flowing out of his eyes. The boy was under a demonic torture. “You are afraid pastor Yemi! I know who you are. Your wife and children are your strength and we are going to kill them!” uncle Jones boasted again. That was it. Charging like a bull, pastor Yemi thrust himself forward, surprising uncle Jones completely. When he grabbed him by the neck, he began to pray very deep tongues, praying as though he was some piece of machine. Uncle Jones raised his hands to cast a spell on pastor Yemi, but his two hands got stuck mid-air. Then he began to make incantations. All those present could see his incantations were ineffective.

That was the cue the prayer warriors needed. They circled uncle Jones who was by now visibly shaken, and began to pray. Even Samuel was praying, though he was still in tears. Uncle Jones could not tell what had happened to the legion of demons he had brought along. He was certain that he had brought with him enough forces to deal with the pastor and kill his family. As the prayer intensified, he stopped making those incantations and began to shout, “Fire! Fire! Fire is burning me! I am on fire, please stop!” If he had ever been to a Nigerian church, he would have known that you don’t say that when Nigerian believers are praying against you. It would only put them on the overdrive. The idea of unseen fire burning a man like him was too strange for him to comprehend. He twisted his body and broke loose from pastor Yemi.

Into the street he bolted, screaming, “Fire o! Fire!!” The fact that his hands were stuck in the air, made it difficult for him to run far. Trying to cross the road, a Mercedes truck with a load of sand, ran over him. His blood and brains were splattered all over the tarred road like those of Southern Kaduna carnage victims. Passers-by who had seen a lady prayed to death in that area earlier, stood in awe of the church nearby and the pastor who had dashed out of the church praying in tongues with some of his church members behind him. While the people watched, a black bird burrowed its way out of uncle Jones’ chest, and fluttered into the air, but with an unusual force hit back to the ground and died immediately. Samuel who was the last to come out of the church, tapped pastor Yemi and said, “Pastor, I feel better now! Something left my body! Something big left my body!”

Patricia’s Pastor and Family
No one at the hospital where the pastor’s girl-child was brought to, could tell what was wrong with the girl. For nearly overs an hour, doctors and nurses ran around to wake the unconscious girl without success. The pastor having grown disgruntled with the inability of the hospital to help his daughter, went to a corner of the church to pray briefly with his wife. He had hardly uttered ten words in prayers when he had a vision and saw an old woman pinning his daughter to the ground. “It is an attack! A spirit is holding our daughter down!” he shouted. Leaving his wife behind, he ran for the room where his daughter was being treated. Doctors and nurses were shocked by the way he dashed into the room. Giving them no chance to ask questions, he laid his right hand on his daughter and commanded, “You evil old woman holding my daughter down, I command you to leave her now! In the name of Jesus release my daughter now!” Almost instantly, the little girl drew in a large gulp of air and sat up on the bed, saying, “Daddy she is gone! The old woman is gone!”

Nurses and doctors were stunned to see that sort of miracle. “It wasn’t your kind of case doctors. I should have prayed first before bringing her here,” he explained to the doctors and nurses, who stood looking bemused. Then it dawned on the pastor that the attack on his daughter was all a ploy to stop him from praying for Patricia and her siblings. “We have to go now!” he shouted to his wife. Taking his daughter by the hand, he ran out of the room. All that was strange to the nurses and doctors. Behind the pastor and his daughter, his wife followed, calling the name of Patricia as she prayed for her and her siblings.

When they got home, it was a show down. With their children in their company, they engaged the demons holding down Sandra and Patricia in prayers.

The Hospital
Mr. Dead was at the door when he heard the sound of prayer in the hospital room where Sandra and Patricia were. As though he had run into a bear robbed of its whelps, he ran back surprising the doctors and nurses who were leading him to the room. “What is it sir?” one of the doctors asked. “Who gave them the right to pray for my daughters?!” Mr. dead asked, turning around as though he was being beaten up. “Ask them to stop! Let them stop praying now!” Unable to stand the cloud of glory over that part of the hospital, he bolted off, screaming as he ran, “Stop them! Stop the prayers now!” The medical team taking care of Sandra and Patricia stood speechlessly watching him run away.

In the medical room where Patricia and Sandra were, nurses Rose and Chika had no clue what was going on outside. Their intent was to pray until whatever was holding the two girls let go of them. The medical team who stood bewildered outside the door, had to enter the room to see if there was much more than just prayer going on in the room. When they saw the demonic manifestations being displayed by Patricia and Sandra, they knew that the man who claimed to be their father did not mean well. Instead of demanding that nurses Rose and Chika stop praying, they joined them. Outside the premises of the hospital, Mr. Dead sought police help to take Patricia and Sandra away from the hospital.
