“We will take nothing. We are glad to wait till my parents are brought here,” replied Kate. “If that is what you want, fine. I can see you still do not trust us, but you have no reason not to. Just like you and your cousin, Eve. I began to fight the Elite from when I was just nineteen years,” said the white-bearded man. “Who told you about my cousin Eve?” “Her father, lord Frederick is a monster, and therefore is to us an interesting target to take down. In watching and studying him, we know about his family and we know that his daughter Eve works against the Elite.” “Who did you say you are sir?” “I am Stan Livermore…” “Jesus! You are supposed to be dead! The Elite killed you in an attack in Istanbul fourteen years ago!” Kate exclaimed. “I know they think I am dead, but what they do not know is that I planned the attack against me in Istanbul. I am alive as you can see, and I want to bring down the Elite.  My father worked for the Elite all his life and tried his best to recruit me, but I refused when I found out what sort of organization the Elite is…” “You killed your father.” “No Kate, I did not. That is only what the Elite think. My father took his own life. Something happened to him in one of the rituals the lords of the Elite performed to renew the worship of Baal in modern time. If the Elite knew the things my father told me and did before he took his life, they would remove his body from the sacred tombs of their lords. He helped me begin this crusade and connected me to mighty men in the Elite who were submissive to him.”

Martin Douglas, Shepherd, Dr. Brown and Eve listened as Kate and Livermore dug into the past life of the elder Livermore. With the revelations Stan Livermore made, Kate relaxed and said to her team, “This man can help us hit the Elite bigger than we planned.” “Do you trust him?” asked Martin Douglas. “He is the Elite’s worst nightmare. To even discover that he is still alive will rip many of their hearts wide open. Most of the things the world know today about the Elite were made public by him. He single handedly killed sixty top leaders of the Elite within a ten year period. During my training by the Elite, he was referred to as ‘death’,” Kate said excitedly. “But how come you could not recognize him? You stood before him and did not know him. How do we know he is the real Stan Livermore? The Elite killed this man many years ago. What if this is all a setup?” asked a very worried Shepherd. Kate regarded her team members for a moment and said, “I have been through trainings none of you will believe exist. I could tell he was telling the truth. Now I understand fully the reason the Elite hate Justin Scott as they do. Concerning why I could not tell who he is when we saw him, maybe it will be better if you hear it from him yourself.” Kate and her team had to wait for a few minutes for Livermore who went into one of the room in the house to return.

When he returned, he still had that same smile on his face. “Stan, some of my people have doubts about you,” said Kate. “Do they?” asked Stan. “They are wondering if you are really Stanley Livermore. They are bothered that I could not recognize you when we arrived here.” “No member of the Elite has seen my face since the day my father was buried; and that is a long time. I was nineteen years then remember. I knew what I had to do; my father had laid out the plan for me. To succeed I needed a new identity. The face you look upon is not the one I came into this life with, and it is one of the many faces I have had. I doubt very much the Elite have a picture of my face. If they do, it must be my natural face. This work of fighting the Elite has destroyed me as much as I have destroyed some of their evil designs. I am sixty-four years old now and I have no wife or child. I don’t have them because I am afraid of what the Elite might do to them.” The mention of the sacrifice he had made softened the hearts of Shepherd and the others who earlier had looked upon him with suspicion. Stan Livermore continued, “I have chosen how to die. In the next meeting of the lords of the Elite, I will strap myself with blow all their lords to bits. I can gain access into their meeting. Like Samson of old, I will kill many more of them in my death than in my lifetime. We can’t stop the Elite, but we can hurt them. It hurts me deeply to admit that truth.”

In that moment, the entrance door to the house swung open and two adults, a man and a woman stepped into the living room first. Behind them were four men armed to the teeth. Stan Livermore pointed at the couple who just stepped into the house and said to Kate, “Kate, here they are.” Slowly Kate stood to her feet and looked unbelievably at her parents. She was nine years old when she saw them last. She could hardly tell who they were. Her parents who had been kept away from the public since Justin Scott saved them from lord Fred, looked on helplessly at Kate and wondered who she was and why they were suddenly brought to the house. No one had mentioned to them that Kate was alive or that they were going to see her. Kate dragged herself closer and stood before them. “Daddy. Mummy,” she said to them as tears streamed down her cheek.” Her parents stepped backward wondering who she was. Seeing they were at loss, Kate said further, “It is me your daughter, Kate Edward. Look over there that is Eve Edward my cousin.” Eve was standing, watching Kate’s parents as tears ran freely down her cheek. Kate’s parents stepped closer to her. They could make out a little semblance in her face. “Kate. Is that you?” her mother asked. Her father pulled her close with one hand and spun her around. “It is Kate!” he exclaimed and the two of them hugged her. They held each other tightly and cried freely. Eve ran to them, put her hands around them and cried as well.

When they had finally settled down, Kate parents plied her with questions about how she survived alone, “Did your uncle Fred help you?” Eve was overcome with shame at that question and looked on the floor. Kate saw her do that and gave her a gentle pat on the back. More questions followed, “How did you find us?” “How much did you give them to let you see us?” “They have been holding us for twelve years. I thought my daughter must have died or that Frederick must have led her in his evil ways,” Kate’s mother said as she hugged her again. “I told you honey that my brother may have meant well,” said Kate’s father. “Your brother didn’t mean well. He is evil!” exclaimed Eve. Kate’s parents were surprised by Eve’s comments. “What are you talking about Eve?” asked Kate’s father. “It was my father who took the two of you away from Kate. He meant to kill you two, but a man, by the name Justin Scott chose to spare your lives. He eventually gave his life to keep your location from my father. My father Frederick Edward is most likely the forerunner of the antichrist.” Kate’s parents were frozen with fear. Kate’s mother turned and looked at her husband with disdain and said, “I told you about my dreams concerning your brother but you wouldn’t listen. Many times I saw him sprouting horns like Baphomet, but you called my dreams paranoid hallucinations. Did you just hear Eve?”

Kate’s father was so shocked he could not speak a word. “Kate, please tell me you did not follow his evil ways,” Kate’s mother pleaded. “I followed Uncle Fred into the very heart of the worship of Satan. I was raped when I was nine, just shortly after you two disappeared. Before I was fifteen I had become a hard core call-girl leaving off that trade. When I turned fifteen Uncle Fred had me initiated into an evil cult known as the Elite. I was made a soldier of the antichrist. For twelve years I killed for this cult…” Kate was choking on her words. Tears just couldn’t stop flowing from her eyes. Her mother held her as closely to herself as she could. She felt Kate’s body vibrating; Kate was dealing with the bitterness she had locked away in her mind all the years she felt she was abandoned by her parents. Kate’s father was as good as a dead man. His heart was threatening to burst out with rage and he struggled to breathe. Eve was quick enough to notice something was wrong with her uncle. She held him and shook him yelling “Uncle! Uncle!” If lord Fred was there, Kate’s father would have broken his neck without batting an eyelid. Eve’s shout alerted the others to Kate’s father’s condition. He was swallowing his tongue in anger and had his fist tightly balled. The blood veins on his face were so prominent that they seemed to burst open.

Kate jumped on her father and tried to help him snap out of the rage which had seized his heart but could not. Stan Livermore dashed out with a syringe and gave him a shot of the liquid it contained. Kate didn’t care about what was given to her father, she just wanted him alive. By the time the drug kicked in and her father’s nerves had relaxed, they saw that his palm and the skin on the back of it had broken open and bled. When they faced him down on the floor, blood oozed from his mouth. Seeing his condition, Stan Livermore feared for the condition of his heart and so called in a doctor to check him out. As Kate held her mother who was scared that her husband might not recover from his condition, she swore not to tell them anymore of the things she had gone through.
