Kate was too fast for them; before they could see they were under attack she had taken one of them out with a kick to the neck. The kick was so powerful that it sent the agent against the brick wall close to him and his head cracked with the sound of an imploding watermelon. As the other three agents made to open fire on her, she dived to the muddy floor of the tunnel picking the gun the agent whom he had killed dropped and squeezed the trigger as hard as she could. A rain of bullets spewed out of her gun and showered on the three agents who stood before her. They hit the floor firing their guns to the roof of the tunnel as the impact from Kate’s gun shook them violently. Kate was well aware of those she was up against; she did not relent when the three agents hit the floor. She held her gun firmly, pumping several bullets into their skulls. Having emptied her gun on them, she dropped it and picked another one dropped by one of the agents and continued to shoot at them. From behind Shepherd and Martin Douglas raced forward. They knew exactly how to keep the four agents quiet permanently. As soon as they reached close to Kate, Shepherd yelled, “Kate! Wait! They will revive if you don’t take their heads off!” “I know! That is what I am trying to do with the bullets!” Kate replied. “Save the bullets! The agents have razor sharp blades on them!” shouted Shepherd.

Kate held her peace; allowing Martin and Shepherd to sever the heads of the four agents with the knives they carried on their bodies. Martin and her team knew it would not take time before the other agents head their way because of the sound of guns shots. They had to race back to the warehouse; but before that, they hid the bodies of the agents in the filthy water in the tunnel. When they reached the entrance into the warehouse, they waited to know if there were people in the warehouse. Unfortunately there were a few; from the tunnel they could hear them. Kate was certain that there was no way they would expect them to head back to the warehouse. Her strategy was to spring a surprise attack on the agents in the warehouse. With one of the guns she took from the agents on her back she made her way into the warehouse. Behind her, Shepherd tagged along with a shotgun in his hand to provide a cover for Kate. Quietly Kate popped in her head into the warehouse from the tunnel and spotted six heavily armed agents in the warehouse. Just like Kate had predicted, not one of them was watching the entrance into the tunnel. Like a fox, Kate sprang into the warehouse and just then two of the agents turned and saw Kate. Shepherd was watching from the tunnel and knew that Kate had little chance against the six agents.

Without delay, he aimed clean shots at the two agents who were first to see Kate and dropped them to the floor with shot to their heads. Kate was grateful for Shepherd’s help, reaching for her gun she aimed at the heads of the other four agents who had been startled by the sound of gun shots from the tunnel. They stood no chance against Kate. She ducked to the ground to make sure she did not present herself an easy target to shoot at and ripped holes in their heads with her gun. Shepherd and Martin sprang into the warehouse firing as well at the four agents. As soon as they were on the floor twitching and convulsing, they all ran towards them and began to slash away at their necks. Kate, Shepherd and Martin had not seen them coming, Dr. Agatha Brown had just climbed out of the tunnel when she saw them. An assault gun was lying not too far from her. She had not used one before but she knew she must use it or they all would die. She picked up the gun did the stuff she had seen in the movie – pointed the gun at the two agents who were storming into the warehouse and squeezed the trigger hard. The impact of the gun sent her to the floor. Her action was enough to buy Martin, Shepherd and Kate enough time to react. The three of them opened fire on the two agents who continued to match into the warehouse as though they had not been shot at. The bullets slowed them down and Kate took a blade and leapt forward. The way she worked the blade against the two agents left no one in the warehouse in doubt that she indeed was a trained killer.

Dr. Brown who had no training was however beginning to get hang of the things around her. Unfazed by the impact of the gun the last time she tried using it, she picked it again and raced toward the torn down doors of the warehouse and peeped out to see if there were more agents in the street. She was a bit late, an agent had spotted her and fired shots at her. The jagged parts of what was the door to the warehouse were Dr. Brown’s saving grace. The bullets from the agent’s gun ricocheted off those metal parts of the iron door and a bullet graced Dr. Brown’s face and she sank to the floor. The agent continued to bore down toward the warehouse. The others took cover and forgot that the professor was with them. The old man had grown tired of running from bullets and crouching in tunnels. He stood his ground and dared the agent to do what he would. Unknown to the old professor, those agents bore no human feelings. They had been hard-wired to kill for the soon to be revealed prince of darkness. The agent fired a few shots at the professor and they burrowed a wide hole in his chest. The hole was so wide that four human hands could go through it. The professor sunk to the floor and did not stir a limb. The sight of the old man shot at like a dog, drove Dr. Agatha Brown insane. The agent had mistaken her for dead. Picking her gun again, she pointed it at the blood thirsty agent who scanned the warehouse for his next victim and squeezed the trigger hard. The gun jolted Dr. Brown, but she held onto it like her whole world hung on it and watched as bullets flew from the gun nozzle into the agent’s head and ripped open his skull and eyes.

The agent tottered and sunk to the ground. Martin Douglas, Shepherd and Kate all sprang from their hiding and began to hark at the agent and in seconds dismembered his body into chunks of bloody meat. Dr. Brown lay back on the floor wailing bitterly. She was the one who had called out the old professor to help them that night. His death wrecked her beyond words; crying like a child who had lost her mother, Agatha Brown went over to where the professor’s body lay and shed a stream of tears. By now Kate had taken one of the guns the agents they killed dropped and made it into the street to see if there were more agents outside. With no sign of any, she ran back into the warehouse and shouted, “There are no more of them outside! Let’s go! Let’s Go!” Shepherd and Martin dragged the heads of Justin Scott and his eight men up from the tunnel and headed out of the warehouse. Kate shot at the tires of the other SUVs in the street to make sure no one could use them to chase after them, at least until they had gone far. Shepherd and Martin having loaded the heads of Justin Scott and his men into one of the SUVs; made ready to leave. From inside the SUV Martin opened the car door for Kate and she jumped in. Shepherd zoomed off as soon as Kate got in. However when Kate looked around there was no sign of Agatha Brown. “Where is the doctor?! Where is the doctor?!” yelled Kate as she turned about frantically in the SUV for her.

Shepherd had to drive back to the warehouse, Kate and Martin ran into the warehouse and saw Dr. Brown still looking at the dead professor with tears-filled eyes. “Doctor! We have to leave now. We have to leave before The Elite finds out we are using their vehicle to get out of the city! There is nothing you can do for the professor he is gone!” Martin yelled as he and Kate tried to drag Agatha to the SUV. Agatha wouldn’t move. She dug her feet into the ground and yelled at them, “He died helping me; I can’t leave his body here! I am going with him!” Martin knew it was no use arguing with her, so he let go of her and lifted the dead professor’s body and ran to the SUV waiting for them outside, behind him Kate and Dr. Brown followed. Not to draw attention to themselves, Shepherd kept his nerve and drove at normal speed through the city. Towards the outskirts of the city, Martin Douglas felt a strong urge to call Alejandro Ignacio. It had been weeks since the first time Justin Scott told him to call the young man and he did not. He felt he should call him and at least tell him Kate was alive.
